This course allows you to explore and apply the main principles, tools and techniques associated with effective project management.
OBJECTIVES:
By the end of this course you will return to the workplace better able to:
• Understand the role of project planning within the context of effective planning and control
• Identify typical projects, their characteristics and features
• Recognise the importance of team work within project management, and the roles/responsibilities of same
• Effectively apply and carry out the key stages of project planning using a range of networking and planning techniques
• Develop and apply personal improvement action plans back in the workplace
• Understand the need for project control, review and effective closure

There are no formal requirements to gain entry into this course! It is open to anyone and everyone!
ASSESSMENT METHOD :
The course will comprise of a few units and an assessment will follow at the end of each one comprising of short answer questions, quizzes or simple short essays.
UPON COMPLETION :
Successful candidates will be awarded the Dunelm Associates Certificate in Project Management
